I know I should be optimistic, however today I'm having a pessimistic day. Therefore, my glass is half empty. I don't like that.

'Man flu' really exists
'Man flu' - the psychological condition by which men claim to suffer more from colds than women - really exists, according to a new poll.
Males take more time off work than women with colds they think are flu, reports the Daily Mirror.
They also moan more, fork out more on remedies and 82% stay in bed until they feel better.
The survey of 2,000 people found 64% of men thought they had flu and took a day off compared with 45% of women.
But according to Prof Ron Eccles of the Common Cold Centre, Cardiff University, it is women who get ill more.
He said: "This is because women have more contact with children - normally the main source of infection."
The poll for Nuts magazine found men take three days to recover and women half that time. November is said to be the worst month for 'man flu' - with one in six suffering.

Feeling blue today. Not sure why........ Fed up and pissed off with life. It really easy to portray a positive outlook to people and be happy and smiley and it's something I can do quite well.

However, telling people that you're feeling shitty is not so easy.......... which is why it's easier to put here and remain anonymous (kind of). I hope that the right people read this and understand what I mean.

This last 18 months has been very up and down and I feel that I've come through it all OK but something is missing..... dunno what.

Oh how I wish I could take a pill and make everything be OK again!

There is a new TV channel out today called Dave. I like that. One of my kittens is called Dave and it's such a great name. What a great idea to name a TV channel after one of my cats........ Dave should receive royalties. My other kitty is called Chaz and I'm thinking of renaming her Dave too. As in Dave and Dave too (not 2). They're both girls but what the hell.

I have a 3 day weekend this weekend with a whole extra hour due to the clocks going back. Yippee! What can you do in an hour........???????? The list is endless. I'll probably use my extra hour for either sleeping (preferred), eating (would love to but I shouldn't) or housework (most probable). Hmphhhh.

I can smell burning and it's coming from the other office. Craig's 'cooking' lunch, hmmmmmmm, not sure what he's got but it smells really burnt.

I for one am eating a cheese savoury sandwich which is not burnt. It's very nice. I have onions stuck in my teeth.

Just an hour to go before I finish work. It's been a bit quiet today. I've still got the laundry to do. It's never ending in our house............! It drives me mad.

We've got rib eye steak for dinner which I'm looking forward to. I don't eat red meat that often so when I do it's a big treat. I'm not sure what we'll have with it yet. I'd like a jacket spud, the kids will want chips and HE will want mash. I sometimes feel that I work in a freakin' restaurant, never get any tips though.

Is it OK to feel sorry for yourself sometimes or is it selfish?. I'm feeling a bit pissed off today and a tad unappreciated. it winds me up. I'm sick of pandering to everyones needs. Everyone in the house wants a part of me. Well, I'm sorry but there's just not enough of me to go around.

Sunday 21st October 2007. Currently working from home. Not really busy in the site. Feeling a bit dopey and tired due to a late night watching TV and drinking wine...............

Going to go to the gym this evening to blow some of the cobwebs away.

Feeling anxious, the police called with an update yesterday. For those of you who know what's going on, my case is with the CPS and it's been referred to another lawyer and could take another couple of months. I'm fed up with the waiting. I just want it all over and done with. I want to move on and I want justice to be done. This bastard can't get away with it. It makes me angry. I mustn't dwell. I must be strong.

For those of you reading who are wondering what I'm talking about. I'll tell you one day. In my own time. It's awkward and painful.
